Hi, ever used neural networks? Been using them for years on ALSI and would love to compare notes with others that does the same.

Can you recommend any indipendant datafeed for the alsi?, warrants za have no volume indicator and feed is delayed by 10 sec plus.Thanks for a great blog.

Datafeed - you have Hisat locally and ESignal internationally, both very good and reliable.

There is some merit in neural networks. I have to a limited extend used it in developing systems. One has to avoid curve fitting though. A comment someone once made regarding "natural selection" to use strategies from different systems to create new systems is something worth testing. I do feel however that a combination of more than one system is advisable per instrument. I see neural networks more relevant in evaluating market conditions, the result will allocate a weighting to different systems to benefit most from general market behavior.
